Just a quick update. I am feeling much better. I have seen the Chiropractor (the best in the business) 3 times now and it really, really helps.

Grace starts her new Brownie Troop on Thursday. I am now the Co-Leader. Mo and I have been reading and copying and planning for 2 weeks. We only had 2 girls last week, now we have 8 girls. We are hoping to keep our number down around 10-12 girls. Our big push right now is COOKIES. We have 900 boxes to sell. We ae going to sell in our local Safeway and Fred Meyers. The bigs are hoping to earn enough money to go and stay at the Beach for the weekend. Fun, Fun.

The Masonic Lodge in town has graceously offered to let us use the Lodge for our meetings. This should be a great place.

I took a fall yesterday going into work and hit pretty hard. I am staying in bed and trying to do very little. I was hoping to go do family stuff this weekend because Dave did not have to work today. Oh well.

Michelle and Grace had the surprise breakfast this morning. The leaders came and took them in their PJ's. They went and had breakfast and did a craft. Sounds like they had a lot of fun.

FYI: Grace can still take cookie orders, we ordered extra cases for store sales and if we can sell them before, all the better.

Happy Birthday!

Alicia if I could have I would have made you a glorious birthday cake.
I would have. This will have to do.

Hello all,

Today is DAY 6 of the kid's days off. They did not have school friday due to ice, and then had a 3 day weekend. Now they got up today and no one is going anywhere. They walked to school this morning at 7:30am and were told they had a 2 hour delay. They walked back at 9:30am and were told they were closing school for the day. They came home cold and wet.
We have lots of snow. Doesn't look promising for the week. Man it is not fun with a house full of BORED kids. I did tell them if I heard BORED I could find all kinds of fun cleaning chores for them, say, like scrubbing the toliet. Big Dave did not have college today either. This was a picture on the MHCC website. I guess the parking lot is a solid sheet of ice.

Hopefully I will get outside with the kids today and get pics of them in the snow. The two David's are out in the Suburban, running errands. I think they just wanted to go and see how bad the roads were.

This was sent to me by Lisa, from Lousianna. Makes me want to
go swimming.

A new kind of Texas deer hunter This picture was taken by a KTBS helicopter flying over Lake Conroe ! That has to be a HUGE gator to have a whole deer in its mouth!

Are you ready to go skiing on Lake Conroe? If you ski at the west end of the lake -- try not to fall! This alligator was found between Athens and Palestine , Texas near a house.

Game wardens were forced to shoot the alligator- guess he wouldn't cooperate... Anita and Charlie Rogers could hear the bellowing in the night. Their neighbors had been telling them that they had seen a mammoth alligator in the waterway that runs behind their house, but they dismissed the stories as exaggerations. "I didn't believe it," Charles Rogers said. Friday they realized the stories were, if anything, understated. Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens had to shoot the beast. Joe Goff, 6'5" tall, a game warden with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, walks past a 23-foot, 1-inch alligator that he shot and killed in their back yard.

This is TOO funny - type out the sentence you end up with, in thesubject line and forward to your friends...also, send it back to theperson that sent it to you.

Our New Schedule

It seems like we are all learning a new schedule.

(We were so stuck in the old one.)

Dave is working four 12 hour shifts a week and going to school 3 days.

It seems like he is either on the computer or at work. With all of this comes the

dreaded job of getting up with the kids at 6:30am. I used to do it 3 days a week, now I do it

all week. No fun especially on the days that I work. YUCK!

Anyway, we had a good amount of snow today but not much stuck.

Now everything is all icy. I do not drive well in ice.
