Our Christmas Tree
All the ornaments are hand made by the girls. My little elves
Grace came to me last weekend and wanted a pair of leg warmers.
So I got out the old crochet hook and whipped these up.
Grace picked out yarn and colors.
She loves them, and asked if I knew how to do anything else.
She wants a pair of gloves and I about died laughing.
I told her it was cheaper to go to Dollar Tree and get a new pair.

Dave thought the girls would have a blast with a new sled.

They practiced in the yard, then went down the hill at the church next door.
What fun.Grace is trying to sled board.
Aren't they cute?

When they came inside we had hot chocolate and they got to make their
gingerbread house. There is a gingerbread man but he is inside.

As I type this it is 23 degree outside.
Dave and I went into the store today in Sandy and couldn't find what we were looking for, so to Gresham we go. The roads were really bad in Gresham. We slid in the parking lot,
very scary to me.
The power has been blinking and we don't expect to have it much longer. Thank goodness our heater is propane. We have friends that will be coming here if their power goes out. We will just have a slumber party in the living room.
LOL!
OH yeah, schools are all closed. Darn it the kids are home again.
On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

Two Turtle Doves

which together bear witness to God's self-revelation
in history and the creation of a people
to tell the Story of God to the world.
