I had Grace take a picture of me today (below) to show the difference.
The top picture was taken April 14 and the bottom one May 31.
I am down almost 30 pounds. I can definitely feel the difference.

We took the girls to the lake today. What a great day to go.

Dave cooked up turkey burgers and garden burgers. Yum!

The girls found treasures.

The girls and I went to dad's for a visit. Alicia is in the nesting phase of her Pregnancy and
we spent the weekend putting together a yard sale. It felt like we accomplished a lot.
30 years of collecting. Boy of boy.
Justin and the girls played outside while we worked. Fun days.

I just love that smile.

The Jobies came to our house this last Friday and did can drive. They
collected cans for Grand Session. Grace earned enough to go. They have 5 ten year olds now. The five of them were the only ones to come, boy do they have lots of energy.

Grace had her play this morning.
It was very cute, I just had a little upset.
The batteries in the camera were gone, I found 2 last minute, and they
too were dead. Darn it! Sorry no pics of Grace but this was the handout we
brought home.

We went camping again this weekend.
We stayed in Wyeth, just east of Cascade Locks.

We got a nice campsite and close to the bathrooms.

Gabby fell at school on Thursday and got kinds bunged up.

Cape Perpetua Trail

Preview: From a sweet cove beach with blowholes and tide pools at either end to the steep, forested headland towering above, Cape Perpetua Scenic Area offers plenty of options to hikers of all ages and energy levels. These three are good starting points with children; check at the interpretive center here for information on longer hikes into the forest.

HERMAN CREEK (in the Gorge)
For Mother's Day my husband and children decided we
needed to go camping. We took the trailer out for
it's maiden voyage. We had a wonderful time.

Grace, Gabby, and I decided to go on a hike and the trail ended up
going straight up a mountain. We walked about 0.3 miles and had to
turn around. Gabby was hard to keep steady on the trail.

Last weekend Dave and I wanted to go for a drive
so we loaded up the girls and checked out Timothy Lake.
There was so much snow we could not go very far. On the way back we
drove back to this campsite that we really like, near Welches.
