Again this year we camped at Lake Selmac in Selma, Oregon.

Dave, Michelle, Grace, and I arrived on Thursday to have an extra day.
When we got everything setup we found out there was no water. The motor had gone out in the well. They did get it fixed on Friday. Thank goodness.
Caroline and Kira showed up Friday in the early afternoon, so we all went down to the lake and played in the water.
What a beautiful day.
Caroline and Kira enjoying their books.
Michelle ready for her turn on the kayak.

Grace is trying her hand at kayaking. She did pretty good for the first time.
Saturday we ventured out to the Illinois River Valley.

The Hamilton family went to the Lake for the day.
We had one boat, four float tubes, and one kayak.
The guys caught about 20 rainbow trout and boy were they delicious.

It was a perfect day. What a great view.

Dave is getting a little help with his fly fishing pole from Uncle Ernie.

I snuck in a picture of my PAPA.

Here's our Grace (from behind). She was having a good time swimming in the lake,
and wearing grandpa's hat.

We went back to my parents house for a big spaghetti dinner (yummy!). While we were their Reese Robert got to try on his tuxedo for the weddings. He was soooo cute. He gave us all the double thumbs up sign and said "Fancy Man." He is such a cutie.

I finally got to see and hold our new little man "Carsten Edward." What a beautiful baby, of course, I am just a little biased.

A Good Day to read a book.
