I just purchased this model at Fred Meyers.

I love it. Everyone should have one of these.

I just watched this movie. It was very good and would

recommend it to all. It stars Robert Redford, Jaylo, and Morgan Freeman.

It is Set in Wyoming.

GABBY TURNED 11

Michelle and Grace gave Gabby a balloon with her favorite

chocolate bar tied to the end. YUMMY!

She got a new backpack, clothes, pjs, a wooden doll with magnetic

clothes, and a Sponge Bob cup.

Grace and I made her cake. It was a yellow cake with white frosting and

a strawberry filling. I decorated it with horses and flowers.

On Oct. 31, I decided to take Grace out of school early.

Since we don't believe in Halloween she would have been

put in the detention room again (has this happen the last 2 years)

I took her to lunch and then asked her to think of a good deed

she could do. She decided to go see her friend Ethel at Cascadia Retirement Center here in Sandy (she met her when the Brownie troop was there). We took Ethel a bag of strawberry candy.

She and Grace had a good visit. Ethel showed her all the pictures.

Then Grace, Stacy, and I went to pick up Gabby from school and headed to the movie theater. (Our theather runs a special about 3 times a year where you can pay $7.00 per kid and they get to see 10 movies and parents get in free.) I took the two girls to see Ice Age 2. It was very cute. We are going to wait and buy the two as a set.

Scrat is our favorite character.
I was very proud of Grace sticking to her beliefs.

She did, however, cry because we did not make it to Corvallis and the

Harvest Carnival. It was the first year she has missed it.

Sylvia and Russell stopped by on her birthday. They

had gone up to WildWood Park, up on the Moutain.

It was good to see them both.

Can't believe how gray Russ is getting. Man are we getting old or what?

Sam had the first Band Concert of the year.
This is him playing his baritone, but last night

he played the timpany (drums). He had 2 solos, and he did

very well. We are very proud of him.

A face only her mother could love (well maybe a

grandma, too.)
