FIRST BBQ OF THE SEASTON!

Today was a very busy day. Sam's birthday and then a BBQ. It was one of those imprompt to things. We had friends show up so we decided to drag the BBQer out and grill up some Steak and Chicken. YUM.

Today is sunday. We went to church and when we got home the boys all wanted to go fishing. Of course Grace can not be left out so she grabbed my pole and out the door she went.

I got a day of quiet. I am suffering from bad allergies and needed the sleep.

My fisher people just pulled in the driveway. No fish but they had some bites.

I let Grace take the digital camera and see what she could do. Out of 20 pictures these were the best two. I think she did pretty well.

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY SAM!

Again we all went to Skate World and celebrated. Sam had his brother and sisters there and 3 friends. We celebrated with Pizza and cake (anyone for a burger and fries) first off then on to SKATING!

I caught Gabby sitting so contently.

Turned to David and he was just about to bite.

Even BIG DAVE got on skates.

They only played 3 songs: Timberline, Rio Bravo, and Dr. Rock.

I was very impressed with all the improvements they have made since October.

This is Olivia and Lizzie, Michelle's friends. Olivia is almost a permanent fixture around here.

We love her just like our own. She is a great kid.

This is the window box my husband made for me. It is in the front of the house.

I went out and took some pics of my yard in bloom. My bushes are getting so full. Very pretty.

Grace and I were sitting outside and I was resetting my camera and decided to take pictures of her. She has been wearing her crown a lot. We went to town to the store and to dinner and she got lots of compliments. She is so cute. This is her Build-A-Bear (Kitty) named Elizabeth.

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY AT SKATE WORLD

The kids got to skate from 12-5pm. We had the birthday party room at 1:20. Grace got a wonderful surprise, her Grandma Paula showed up just as we were cutting the cake.

Sam and Michelle took off on the skates and are awesome skaters. Grace held onto the side for awhile and then did a little better. She had her cousins from the Gorge come-Mac, Matthew, Luke, and Jared. Her bestest friend Joshua, and here brothers and sisters all there.

We only had one big crash. Our friend Stacy was hit from behind and was taken to Adventist Hospital in an ambulance. She fractured her knee. They put a brace on her leg until the swelling goes down and they can do more x-rays.

I would have had a lot more pics of the kids skating but they kept turning off the lights.
