Our Troop was set to sell cookies this weekend at Safeway,in Sandy. They have adamently refused to allow the girls to sell inside the doorway. We are all being punished because one leader let her kids run amok in the store. (She is also the reason I took Grace out of her old troop and became the co-leader of another.)
The counsel tells us to suck it up and sell in the rain and snow.
I guess we can not all win but my kids are not sick with runny noses.

Today was cookie pick-up day. We took the seats out of my van and it was packed tight.
We have store sales over the next few weeks. The girls are doing so great.

My mom was discharged yesterday. She doesn't want to leave Alicia and baby, so they (she and dad) stayed there last night. We are headed home today. It will be a very long drive but will be good to get her home.
They determined she had an inter-cranial hemorrage. It has affected her speech center of the brain. She is talking good but gets things jumbled up if she tries to go to fast.
Thank you all for your prayers.

We are on our way, should be there in 8 hours.
Will try to keep this updated.

Did You Know?Crater Lake National Park gets an average of 533 inches of snow per year - that is more than 44 feet of snow!

I remember the winter I spent there. Lots and Lots of snow.

I have not taken any pics of kids lately. We have been so busy. Dave has a new job on weekends. He will be working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We won't see much of him for awhile. The good news is he still has all A's in college. Very impressive.

We were hoping to go back to Prineville this year for our Anniv. but looks like it may not work out. Darn it. I soooo look forward to this weekend. Just Dave & I (NO KIDS).

I want to wish our nephew JARED a Happy 1st Birthday.

Just a quick update. I am feeling much better. I have seen the Chiropractor (the best in the business) 3 times now and it really, really helps.

Grace starts her new Brownie Troop on Thursday. I am now the Co-Leader. Mo and I have been reading and copying and planning for 2 weeks. We only had 2 girls last week, now we have 8 girls. We are hoping to keep our number down around 10-12 girls. Our big push right now is COOKIES. We have 900 boxes to sell. We ae going to sell in our local Safeway and Fred Meyers. The bigs are hoping to earn enough money to go and stay at the Beach for the weekend. Fun, Fun.

The Masonic Lodge in town has graceously offered to let us use the Lodge for our meetings. This should be a great place.

I took a fall yesterday going into work and hit pretty hard. I am staying in bed and trying to do very little. I was hoping to go do family stuff this weekend because Dave did not have to work today. Oh well.

Michelle and Grace had the surprise breakfast this morning. The leaders came and took them in their PJ's. They went and had breakfast and did a craft. Sounds like they had a lot of fun.

FYI: Grace can still take cookie orders, we ordered extra cases for store sales and if we can sell them before, all the better.

WHAT TIME IS IT?
